TONY COLLINS ART

Art - Lighting - Custom Metal Work

Tony & Holly Collins, a husband and wife team, make custom commercial and residential lighting, metal work and art.

We can also UL Certify your antique or imported lighting.

Our Dallas gallery showcases Tony's work and includes abstract paintings, sculpture, drawings and prints. We are open by appointment and located in the Cedars, just south of downtown Dallas.

You can see our lighting at many Chili's, Dickey's, On the Border and Uncle Julio's restaurants.

We also built the rotating structure that holds Dallas's iconic ExxonMobil Pegasus at the Omni Dallas Hotel.

Tony Collins is an abstract expressionist painter and sculptor.

His artwork is both powerful and intriguing - inspired by urbanism, nature and motion.

Tony combines a bold palette of colours with subtle and surprising strokes to recreate images of his travels into thought-provoking abstract landscapes, which he refers to as “an abstract representation of my soul's journey through life”.

He was born in Australia and grew up in England.  He has travelled extensively around Europe, the Americas and Southeast Asia, and draws much inspiration for his paintings from those travels.

His popular charcoal “Happy Hour” series is a light-hearted study of various glasses and bottles. Some are defined, some are blurred; some are upside down, some are seen with double-vision.  Whether the glass is half empty, or half full is up to you!
